Design | Kendall Scott Jewelry

My friend and co-worker got me hooked on Kendra Scott jewelry recently and I knew I just had to share!

Based out of Atlanta her jewelry is modern and bright all the while leaning towards a more simplistic feel.

She also has this great concept on her website called the color bar where you select shape of the object and then the color of the stones so everything can be completely customized!

I couldn't wait to order something so I used the excuse of any "early birthday" present to order myself her Kiri birthstone necklace!!! I'm counting down until it arrives!

I love how simple and delicate it is!!!

Design | New York Apartment Make Over

I stumbled over these pictures on one of the blogs that I follow and I instantly fell in love.

This 2,500 square foot Upper West Side Apartment transformation turned an out dated space into a contemporary reflection of the Art Deco time period.

I love the abstract art next to the pale blue wall color, it seems to make everything pop just a little bit more!

Friday Favorites

It's finally here!! Well actually in 3 and a half hours it will finally be here! The end of the weekend!

I have absolutely no plans this weekend and I could not be happier. I'm flying to sunny Sarasota next Thursday to see the boyfriend and just want to take a weekend to do absolutely nothing.

Design | SS Print Shop

I discovered this print shop when I was reading one of Lauren Conrads' new posts on her blog!

It's a print shop created by Canadian native Stephanie Sterjovski and her items are adorable.

While most of them are simple in design, I love her choices of color and the way her words are arranged on a single print. If you haven't checked out the shop before you need too!!

Design | Lillian August

After stumbling on Lillian August's project portfolio I just knew I needed to share!

This one project in particular caught my eye; her Fairfield house has a sense of whimsy mixed in with modern. It's almost what I would picture Alice from Alice in Wonderland living in if she had grown up and bought a house!

Plus that bathroom is beyond words!! If my shower and bath tub were that large I would never leave the room!

Design | Summertime Blues

OK so with another "polar vortex" on it's way I can't help but dream about warmer weather. After all I did move away from the North to escape the cold months but I guess I didn't move far enough South!!

That being said this backyard designed by Shannon Gale is exactly where I wish I was right now. To be honest I just wish I had a house as amazing as this one!!
