Dish | Whole Wheat Strawberry Muffins

Delicious low fat whole wheat muffins loaded with Strawberries in every bite! Do you ever get the craving for muffins but get discouraged when you realize how many calories are in them? I always find myself veering away from the bakery aisle in the grocery store. However, these muffins are low in fat, high in fiber and most importantly they're good for you!!














Ingredients
(1) Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
(2) Cups Whole Wheat Flour
(1/2) Cup Sugar
(1) TSP Baking Powder
(1/2) TSP Salt
(2) Cups Strawberries
(1) Large Egg
(1) TSP Vanilla
(2) TBSP Melted Butter

Directions
Preheat you oven to 325 degrees.
In a small bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix thoroughly.
In a medium bowl mix together your eggs, melted butter, vanilla and apple sauce. Add the flour mixture and blend until smooth. Gently fold in your diced strawberries.
Pour batter into 12 lined muffin tins and bake for 25 minutes. Cool for about 10 minutes.
