Design | Conservatories

Conservatories are one of those design elements that I always forget about until they pop up and I remember how much I love them. Who wouldn't want a room full of natural light? Especially if there's an outdoor living room located in the space! It just seems to be the most ideal place for day dreaming, napping, reading, entertaining...hell anything really!! I would never ever leave this room if it was in my house! I would make it my bedroom but I think it would be a bit to bright on the days I'm trying to snooze a little longer ;)

Design | Glass Framed Showers

There's something so clean and beautiful when it comes to showers framed with glass. They help the room achieve such a modern sense! If my bathroom was as glamorous as some of these I don't think you could ever get me to leave.

You know what they say though, if you got it flaunt it and with a shower like this you would definitely be flaunting it!!

Thursday Thinking's...

Thursday bloody Thursday! Yes I admit I stole that from U2 and put my own spin on it but that is exactly how I feel today. I've only been back to work for technically a day and a half but jeez what a day and a half it has been! It's almost not worth taking the time off to avoid all the catch up... I'm lying I wouldn't trade 5 glorious days off from work for anything :)

Design | Barn Chic

I'm sorry I've been so MIA the past couple of days! I've been visiting my family back in Baltimore! I spent the whole weekend relaxing, sleeping, eating, hanging out with my puppy and enjoying some wine on our beautiful back porch. It was a much needed break from work and the real world, but now it's back to the grind! 

As I've stated numerous times I am not a huge fan of rustic decorations. However, after seeing this barn house I might be changing my tune! Everything in this house is so crisp, clean and of course WHITE (my favorite!!). I am beyond obsessed with the rope banister for the stair case as well as the way they incorporated it into the light fixtures. 

To top it all off the view is to die for! Add a glass of wine, a good friend, the perfect sunset and you're living the good life. 

Thursday Thinkings

Thursday is finally here! Although for some reason this week has FLOWN by for me! Technically this is my Friday since I will be driving home to Baltimore tomorrow to visit the fam. Not super pumped about the 7 hour drive but I'm sure with some great tunes and some snacks of course the time will fly by! 

In the meantime here are some thinking's to get you through the day!

Design | Outdoor Living Rooms

Now that the weather is finally starting to warm up all I want to do is be outside! From screened in porches, to covered and uncovered patios, an outdoor living room is definitely on my list of summer essentials.

Without a doubt one of my favorite things for on outdoor living room is a wood burning stove. From roasting marshmallows to grilling out, outdoor fireplaces make every summer night an occasion. 

A little food, a little fireplace, a little wine and of course the cool summer breeze makes these spaces the idyllic summer escape!
