Emily Summer's Design was just added to the AD 100 and I can totally see why! Traditional design with modern touches bring these spaces to life and make them stand out. I love how uncluttered and clean cut everything is, with small pops of color or statement pieces making the space. 

What are your thoughts on some of these spaces??

Wedding Weekend Recovery

I'm back!! After a long weekend with maybe only 15 hours of sleep I am working on getting back into the swing of things! Emily looked absolutely gorgeous and Tropical Storm Andrea was nice enough to clear out of Charlottesville just in time for the wedding on Saturday. Since work is insane trying to play catch up I'm going to leave you with some shots from this past weekend! I'll be back tomorrow with a brand new post :)

Wedding Weekend

I am heading off to Charlottesville, VA today for my college roomies wedding weekend! 

I will be taking a break to take on all of my bridesmaids duties so you won't hear from me until Monday.

Design | Turquoise Interiors

I love color in rooms, but I'm also a firm believer in not going over board when it comes to using color. In this coastal home that I stumbled upon, you see small splashes or turquoise throughout the house. The exterior is color washed in turquoise as well which brings on a sense of unity throughout the home. I just love how subtle and light the home feels and how happy and relaxed the interior is. 

Design | Wendy Posard and Associates

When I stumbled upon Wendy Posard's work the first thing I thought of was relaxing, soothing, clean and energetic. Everything about her work is amazing! No two rooms are the same and you instantly feel like taking a seat and staying a while when you enter them. I mainly love how high and lofty the ceilings are in many of them, it seems to add an airy feeling to the space!

Design | Cabana's

This past weekend in North Carolina was beyond gorgeous! Although the weather was a little on the toasty side it wasn't something that a little beach breeze couldn't fix! That being said after this past weekend I would LOVE to have one of these amazing cabana's in my backyard. Aren't they just the best solution when it comes to finding a little shade? Just add a good book, a cocktail and your set!
