I came across this article on Elle Decor and the pictures of the home caught my eye immediately. 

The openness of the house mixed in with a sense of airiness just made it seem like the most relaxing place to live!

This space really fuels my desire to dare to be different with my spaces. To push the boundaries and take some risks; while it may not be the ideal space for most people (heck I probably wouldn't decorate my house to this extent) I think that small aspects of it placed in a neutral spaces would be gorgeous. 

The below space was created by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran who make up Dimore Studio.

This house is amazing! I mean seriously there is no better way to describe it then amazing! It's the perfect mix of beachy and classic! From the white interiors, to the kitchen with pops of red, to the fixture over the kitchen table, to the hard wood in the dressing room love, love, LOVE

Thursday Thinkings...

I feel completely defeated by this day and it's only Thursday!! The silver lining being that tomorrow is Friday is what is helping me get through the rest of my day. I hope you're having an amazing Thursday and as always here are some thoughts to get you through the rest of the day...

Design | Coastal Cool Bedroom

While Wilmington, NC might be a sleepy beach town it definitely is not the type of beach town to combine city sophistication with a coastal casual feel. This tranquil bedroom designed by Robert Stilin bring's forth a combination of wood flooring, an amazing canopy bed and leather accents that makes you want to open the shutters and let the sea breeze drift in. 

I would hit my snooze button multiple times if I had this as a bedroom!

Design | Indre Rockefeller

Another Elle Decor discovery! While I'm not a huge fan of multiple patterns, something about Indre Rockefeller's ability to combine color and print caught my eye. Her work almost has a sense of whimsy to it that I love. If only I could combine multiple patterns which so much ease! 

Design | Nina Farmer

While perusing House Beautiful I came to a halt when I saw one particular spread. Nina Farmer's brownstone on Beacon Hill is an interesting mix of modern, traditional and personal. She has an amazing ability to mix furniture and accessories from different time periods which leads to a comfortable and timeless aura. Not to mention the stone detailing she has in the house below is beyond gorgeous!

Seriously?! That mirror is beyond amazing!!

I absolutely adore the black and white contrast in this stairwell

Thursday Thinkings...

This week has flown by!! I can't believe it's already Thursday! While it's still cloudy, rainy and cold outside I can't wait for a weekend with absolutely no plans or responsibilities. Sigh.
