I apologize for the missed posted yesterday! Can anyone say insane work week this week?! I feel like I haven't been at my desk for longer then 5 minutes each day. Which makes this Friday all the more glorious! I cannot wait to go home, kick my heels off and relax on the couch (I'm thinking Pitch Perfect for the 5th time sounds perfect!). Design | Gallery Walls

There's something comforting in a gallery wall...maybe it's the ability to freely frame anything you want before hanging it up? Or maybe it's unity it brings to a room? Whatever it is I am in love with it! I'm not so sure about hanging everything perfectly straight but it wouldn't be fun if it was easy :)

Wouldn't you love to memorialize some of your favorite shopping trips?! Why not hang those left over bags on the wall so you can remember all the fun you had! 

A random collection of art is always fun too, even art that makes you take a step closer and really look at what's on the walls.

Design | Brown

Now you all know my affinity for white and while I can't live without it sometimes it's not the most practical thing. Case and point brown, the use of various shades tends to create a look similar to layered neutrals but with tons of impact! In a bedroom it seems to be the perfect combination of feminine and masculine; and lets face it who doesn't love some animal print thrown in from time to time?!

Brown in definitely  one of those colors that designers alike could not live without!

What are your thoughts on the color!?

Design | South Hampton Chic

Look at this AMAZING south Hampton cottage!! The calming neutrals and traditional tones are simply breathe taking. I adore how clean and airy everything looks without appearing too bland or understated. 

They've done an amazing job of taking something so simple and making it beautiful! 

What are your thoughts? Do you love it or hate it?!

Design | Glass Front Cabinets

There's something about glass cabinets that add a lot of definition to a room. Granted you need to make sure you keep them tidy so people don't think you're insane due to hoarding tendencies! However, there's something so clean cut and beautiful about having glass cabinets in your kitchen or living room. 

Maybe once I have a grown up house I can add them into my house :)

It's that time again! This weekend is going to be full of rest and relaxation before I kick into work weekends! I wish my family lived locally so I could be spending Father's day with my dad. Thursday Thinking's...

I think that my exhaustion from my friends wedding this past weekend has carried on throughout this week. That being said I couldn't be more thrilled that today is Thursday and I only have to make it through 48 hours before I can rest and relax all weekend :)

Until then here are some thinking's to get you through the day...

Design | Rustic

I am not a huge fan of the rustic feel, unless of course I'm spending the weekend in a cabin in the woods or mountains. I've just never thought of utilizing rustic decor in my everyday home...plus the fact that I live by the beach could confuse any visitors I have ;) However, when I cam across Bobby Me Alpine Interiors I have to admit that I was intrigued. I love how clean cut he has made this rustic style home so much so that it's caused some wheels to start turning in my head! Would you love to come home to your own cabin in the woods? Especially if it looked like this:

Design | Emily Summers

Emily Summer's Design was just added to the AD 100 and I can totally see why! Traditional design with modern touches bring these spaces to life and make them stand out. I love how uncluttered and clean cut everything is, with small pops of color or statement pieces making the space. 

What are your thoughts on some of these spaces??
