Design | Tribeca Loft

This loft by Carrier and Company is too die for. Although I'm not a huge fan of the pastel pink I can't say no to the white undertones! Plus the high ceilings and those windows are the icing on the cake!

Design | Craving Summer!

With another tropical vortex (come on it's too fun of a word not to use!!) about to hit up north and with taunting temperatures of 64 to 68 in Wilmington I really just wish that summer would hurry up and get here all ready!! 

Here's to dreaming about boat rides, bikinis, pool parties, cocktails by a bonfire and cut off jeans!

Typically I'm not a huge fan or turquoise let alone anything that is remotely preppy. However, when I stumbled upon Tom Scheerer's style it was enough to make me think twice. His light and airy style makes the home seem way to welcoming to ignore! I mean really look at that bed room and tell me you don't want to just fall into that canopy bed! I know I could waste the whole day away there!

What do you think of his style? Love or hate it?!

With another impending ice storm here in North Carolina I felt like needed to break out of the season and day dream of warmer days! 

This Nantucket house by Jeffery Alan Marks seemed like the perfect solution. I love the modern prints mixed with the nautical feel. It's an odd combination that not everyone can pull off but I think this home does it perfectly. 

I would love to cozy up and read a good book or walk along the beach in 70 degree weather....but then again anything is better then freezing rain and ice, right?!! A girl can dream I suppose!

Design | Cupcakes and Cashmere

There are a certain number of blogs that I check everyday, something about the way the author writes keeps me coming back for me! That being said Cupcakes and Cashmere is one of those blogs, not only do I find her style (both interior and dress adorable), she's someone who you can relate too. That being said I noticed her kitchen re-design on her blog last week and lets just say I fell in love. I know I fall into my own cliche in that the kitchen is white but's it's too simple not to be perfect! 

I love the rustic characteristics that it has as well!

I know I can imagine myself with a glass of wine sitting at that island!

I figured since the weather is still dreary and rainy outside why not continue day dreaming about a tropical getaway?!

Christian Liaigre's St. Barts home featured in Elle Decor has taken the idea of a simple beach haven to pure sophistication. It's airy and open feel does little to distract from the natural beauty that surrounds the house. However, his pops of blacks and red's brings a modern style to something that is generally "shabby chic beach".
